To develop and promote research, training and academic activities in relation to infectious diseases, in particular in the field of virology, immunology, epidemiology, vaccinology, and biological resources center as well as to explore the active elements of Chinese traditional medicine, for the benefit of public health in China, by converging the resources of government, society, enterprises and individuals within the framework of the Constitution and laws of the People’s Republic of China as well as the ethic rules set out by the international conventions to which China has adhered such as the Nuremberg Code (1947), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and the Declaration of Helsinki (revised 2000) and their successive versions. The activities of the Foundation shall comply with the generally accepted international principles of protection of disabled or defenseless human beings, and shall be always purported to peaceful scientific objectives.
